Support local artists at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts’ annual Artist Market! Extended to two days, this event highlights work by artists from across the River Region and the state. Artist Market offers a beautiful array of works in various price ranges, from striking fine art to charming gifts. Work for sale may include visual arts (painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, and digital art), fabric, clothing and accessories, jewelry, and handcrafted items (sculpture, ceramics, glass, woodworking, and more). All artists who make their own items are encouraged to apply.
Proceeds from Artist Market benefit the local artist community and educational programming at the Museum.
Artist Market is a fine arts and fine crafts market. The blind jury, composed of artists, community leaders, and City of Montgomery employees, seeks artists and artisans who are accomplished in their medium, who are original and exciting in their ideas, and who will be an asset to the market overall. Originality and workmanship are highly favored, especially in over-represented categories such as jewelry.
